I was married for almost 24 years to the love of my life, Patrick teNyenhuis. Patrick was killed on April 20, 2016 on a morning bike ride by a drug impaired driver. I started journaling to help me through my grief and eventually started this blog. Sharing my thoughts and feelings has helped me through this process and I hope that it helps others understand more about grief and the profound impact it can have on you.
I live in Clovis, California with the second love of my life, my husband Bruce. I am blessed to have two wonderful daughters, Sierra, 23, and Camille, 21.
